The formation of Gresham Marshall represents a natural evolution of shared experience, design philosophy, and ambition. Built on a foundation of complementary skills and decades of combined expertise, the studio brings together design clarity, technical understanding, and a forward-thinking approach to superyacht design.

Founding Partner
Steve Gresham is a founding partner of Gresham Marshall, a premier design studio located between Hampshire and London, specializing in luxurious yacht design. With a First-Class Honours degree in Transport Design and over 30 years of experience, Steve has cultivated a rich and diverse portfolio. His journey began in product development and industrial design, working with notable brands such as Pictionary and Boots PLC.
Transitioning to marine design, his pivotal experience in Williams Grand Prix's engineering division refined his expertise in high-performance design. Collaborating with acclaimed yacht designer Don Shead, Steve contributed to several iconic projects, including the 25m turbine-powered Oci Ciornie. His collaborative efforts with Tony Castro Design and H2 Yacht Design resulted in high-profile vessels like the 123m Al Lusail and 125m Maryah. In 2011, he established his own studio, where he has since delivered impressive projects such as the 71m Victoria and the 87m explorer yacht OceanXplorer. Steve's commitment to innovative design and meticulous execution sets him apart in the world of yacht design.
Founding Partner
Mark Marshall is the co-founder of Gresham Marshall, bringing nearly 15 years of diverse experience within the yacht design industry. His expertise spans production composite vessels, military craft, and high-end superyacht projects, each reflecting his innovative approach and dedication to excellence.
Originally emigrating to New Zealand as a teenager, Mark's passion for the water inspired him to study yacht design.
His foundational experience as a boat builder across various yards shapes his design philosophy today. Mark further honed his skills at LOMOcean Design in Auckland, contributing to award-winning vessels such as the 39m explorer catamaran The Beast and the 46m catamaran Charley. Since returning to the UK almost a decade ago, prior to the launch of Gresham Marshall he became an essential part of Gresham's team, playing a key role in notable projects like the 87m OceanXplorer and the 91m Moonlight II interior refit.

Andrew Johansson
MARKETING & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Andrew's professional career has been largely spent within the superyacht industry, operating out of London, UK and Edmonton, Canada. Having spent a little under seven years with media organisation The Superyacht Group as its design editor and head of its Design Division, Andrew is well versed in all things media, publishing and marketing.
Pair this with his skills as a graphic designer, website builder, photographer and videographer, and Andrew is able to convey strong messaging through word and image. Since 2017, Andrew has provided the industry with marketing strategies and media support and plays a key role at Gresham Marshall.
Andrey Kuleshov
3D VISUALISATION
Andrey began working on 3D graphics in the mid-1990s, working initially on the creation of virtual 3D environments for television and film, including interactive virtual studios, green screen production, and computer-generated visual effects. In the mid-2000s, he completed a master’s degree in Interior Design. Today he works on 3D design development, high-end visualisations, interactive presentations, and cinematic animations. The integration of AI-driven tools and workflows into the yacht design process, enhance both conceptual development and production efficiency, ensuring Gresham Marshall stay on top of the latest technological developments.
